Rosemary Ruan

Rosemary Ruan has studied piano with Carol Fifield since June of 2018. She has made remarkable progress in the last two years. She received “Highest Honors” at the District and State levels in the 2019 Junior B Level of the NCMTA Piano Performance Festival. This Summer 2020, she received “First Class Honors with Distinction,” which is the highest classification of marks, for The Royal Conservatory Level 5 Practical Examination and scored a perfect 100 on The Royal Conservatory Level 6 Theory Examination.

Rosemary says, “Playing piano makes me happy and helps me concentrate, When you work hard on a piece, it feels really good to play it well.” Rosemary enjoys learning about different musical periods and composers. Bach and Beethoven are her favorite composers. She attends Northwest Middle School in Greensboro, NC. Rosemary also enjoys playing tennis, reading books and playing viola.

We are so proud of her hard work and accomplishments.
