At the GMTA Solo and Ensemble Festival held at UNCG in March:

At the North Carolina Music Teachers Association District Piano Performance Festival held at UNCG in March:

Timothy Vo received Highest Honors at the Senior B level.
Allen Xu received Highest Honors at the Senior B level.
Students earning a Highest Honors rating at Junior B, Senior A and Senior B levels advance to the State PPF.
At the NCMTA State Piano Performance Festival held at UNC Charlotte in March:

Students who received Highest Honors Ratings at the State Level are invited to perform in the Honors Recital at the 2023 NCMTA State Conference in October at UNC Wilmington.

Allen Xu has earned the Level 10 Comprehensive Certificate. This is the highest level of the Advanced Certificates and represents years of cumulative study and practice earned by successful completion (high grades) of the Practical Examination Level 10, Level 8 Theory, Level 9 Harmony, Level 9 History, Level 10 Harmony and Counterpoint and level 10 History.
This is an achievement of enormous magnitude and allows Allen to pursue the Associate Diploma (ARCT), Performer.
